This program provides start-up grants to Québec residents under age 40 who are starting or joining an agricultural business. Two options are available: a full-time grant of $20,000 to $50,000 and a part-time grant of $10,000 to $25,000, with amounts based on education and training level. Funding supports productive investments such as land improvements and equipment. Eligible applicants must have recognized training, at least one year of farming experience, own a minimum 20% share of the business, and demonstrate the ability to reach $30,000 (part-time) or $50,000 (full-time) in annual gross income within five years.
